 Lead / Senior Software Engineer

(Location: Shanghai)



This position offers an excellent opportunity to play a lead engineer role in a high-performance and expanding software team. This position is ideally suited for a motivated individual who is energetic, takes initiative and has a broad understanding of software engineering. You will need to work independently with minimum supervision as well as being able to fit in with a very dynamic, fast pace and global team.



Key Responsibilities



1. Define market requirements and technical specifications of secured payment solutions, and consolidate them into new project developments

2. Fulfill development tasks of SmartPOS and extended product series especially through hands-on software architecture & detailed designs

3. Ensuring timely, functional, installable and cost-efficient development of payment products, solutions and application projects

4. Report pertinent information regularly on project status through clear spoken and written communications

5. Support to build up a better organization through growth driving, processes maturing, and manage and coach junior engineers



Key Accountabilities



1. Support in identifying market requirements of secured payment solutions

2. Define technical concepts/specifications for SmartPOS and extended solutions

3. Hands-on development of SmartPOS, advanced applications, and also tools for diverse POS peripheral products

4. Lead software team implement agile software developments for designated products or solutions

5. Support design reviews, both customer and internal as required

6. Participate in project planning and meet committed timelines

7. Ensure all design and technical deliverables well documented and managed

8. Deliver production test tools for all released products fulfilling Operation needs of productivity improvement and quality controls



Specific Skills / Background Required:



1. Master or Bachelor degree in Software Engineering or related;

2. 8 years or above full lifecycle software product development experience with project management senses.

3. Expert of programming languages like C++/C#, Java, Swift, etc.

4. Master of at least one of following:

a) Objective-C skills and inside-and-out knowledge of the iOS SDK

b) Java skills with extensive knowledge of the Android SDK

c) Scalable web-based RESTful APIs

d) Object Oriented PHP skills

5. Skilled in User Interface (UI)/User Experience (UX)

6. Experiences of driver developments under Linux and Windows operating systems

7. Excellent analytical and diagnosis skills with a common sense approach to problem solving

8. Board knowledge of secured payment solutions is a significant plus. Experience of POS software development is more than welcome

9. Good command of spoken and written English is must, Korean or Japanese speaking is a plus

10. Team player with demonstrated commitment to growth and continuous improvement

11. Willingness to change and Can-Do attitude
