Who You'll Work With

This role is a key member of team working in close alignment with Japan Account Team and Japan Service Provider/Enterprise Customer.

A challenging but very interesting role requires both technical breadth and depth in order to be effective.

AS a Network Consulting Engineer who will be responsible for providing consultative, proactive and sometimes reactive support to Cisco customers.

Depending on the Service Contract, the individual may be responsible for network planning, design, implementation, operation and optimization (PDIOO). This may include remote or on-site: infrastructure design, implementation planning, deployment support, software strategy, performance engineering and optimization, knowledge transfer and mentoring, and network auditing/sizing.

What You'll Do

・Provide network consultancy, design, implementation and support to help customers maximize network availability and functionality to achieve their business goals.

・Activities will include in-depth software strategy risk analysis, design (both for high and lower level network solutions), deployment, support and consultancy.

・Taking ownership of technical aspects in the new architecture/solutions and technical prime and in professional services assignments.

・Quickly grasp the customer's network structure, and correctly analysis whether software version has the impact or not for the existing customer network.

・Having the ability to build in depth expertise in the underlying and associated technologies and architectures.

・Can communicate with customers in business level Japanese and provide feedback to team to improve the quality and productive.

・Participate in regular meetings with customers, report the potential risks existing on customers' current networks, and give advice and resolve customer suspicions.

Skills/Experience:

• Technical requirements: R&S focus: Experience of working on Catalyst series switches (//6500), and ISR series router (). Knowledge in high end routers (7600/GSR/CRS/ASR/Nexus). Familiar with the following technology: STP, HSRP, IGP/EGP routing protocols, MPLS, high availability, network/device security, netflow, QoS, IP SLA, network management.

• Knowledgeable in one or more of: UCS, Linux, Virtualization / VMware, UC, Nexus, Storage (EMC, Netapp, Hitachi), MDS

• At least 5+ years of working experience in the IT industry.

• CCNA, CCNP certifications are required. If CCIE is the best

• Must have good knowledge of Cisco product lines and technology.

• Expert level internetworking troubleshooting in a large-scale network environment.

• Is a technical expert in more than one area with a wide understanding of networking protocols and concepts

• Possess strong technical account management skills.

• Have strong communication and customer facing skills.

• Fluency in Japanese and English

2. 日语熟练和英语可读写

1.有思科CCIE认证优先；

2.精通Linux，有Linux KVM，python/bash script experience工作经验优先；

3.精通VMWare，有VCP DCV,VCP NV认证或者NSX工作经验优先；

4.精通Openstack，有相关工作经验优先；
