Main Purpose of Role: 
-Responsible for planning, monitoring and managing the delivery of projects to meet agreed deliverables, scheduled timeframes, and allocated budgets.
-Helping with the design of new products for Gtech from Briefing pack. 
Liaise with Gtech’s UK Project Engineers to ensure briefs are being met


Key Tasks:
-• Provide guidance and facilitate communication to stakeholders regarding the implementation of deliverables, project concepts, and schedules to ensure management of Gtech expectations.
-Use 3D Solidworks to produce development concepts and detailed design for hand over to manufacturing partner(s).
Write up component specifications for sourcing from China and arranging samples of components
Effectively Project manage product development activities to meet agreed time, cost and specification.
Liaison with factories to ensure smooth transition from development to production
Conduct feasibility studies on new project proposals
Investigate and develop new product concept ideas.
Investigate potential new technologies / suppliers that could benefit Gtech products
Testing products, components, prototypes, technologies, recording test results for review and action

Knowledge and Experience:
-Over 3 years experience managing multiple phases of projects in service environment including implementation of HR related products and services. Experience should include multi-phase projects, planning, scope definition, resource allocation and process improvement. Demonstrated ability to manage remote resources in matrix or hub environment.
-Ten years design experience in consumer products and plastic injection moulding using Solidworks
-The jobholder must be technically competent in a wide range of design/engineering skills and must have knowledge of project management relating to New Product Introduction. 
Organisational, analytical, communications and interpersonal skills are a pre requisite of this position.
Must be able to speak, write and read English
