Job Responsibilities
•	Lead and facilitate the ESI meeting with suppliers and design engineers to review engineering and manufacturing specifications including special requirements to ensure the compliance of materials needed for product assembly for all manufactured goods
•	Act as contact person and liaison between suppliers, design engineers, logistics team and manufacturing personnel to secure required materials for the production floor
•	Resolve non-conformance issues with supplied materials and follow up with suppliers for completion of corrective actions
•	Conduct supplier quality control audits on a regular basis to ensure vendors and their suppliers remain in compliance with company and customer’s manufacturing and production standards
•	Review and Approve supplier’s component PPAP package and other technical documents
•	Coordinate with purchasing department to monitor supplier performance, generating regular reports and administering corrective actions as necessary
•	Evaluate supplier data to initiate process improvement and cost-reduction opportunities along the supply chain through technical means
•	Communicate with vendors regularly to address any concerns and foster an environment that facilitates continual improvement in working relationships
•	Assist with IQC in drawing interpretation and measurement set-up for the incoming material inspection, including communications with vendors and design engineers when there are measurement data discrepancies or non-compliance during incoming inspection 
Job Skills & Qualifications
•	Advanced knowledge on tooling design and development for injection mold and stamping tool including its associated processes e.g., plating, heat treatment, etc.
•	Knowledge of quality system methodologies, Quality tools e.g., SPC, Cause-and effect, Control chart, etc, with knowledge in product development and Six Sigma
•	Excellent problem- solving skill with experience using RCA tools, ex. 8D, 5-why’s, etc
•	Strong verbal and written communication skills (English and Chinese); ability to write technical documents and converse in English language is a MUST
•	Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T call-out for measurement set-up and able to discuss technical issues with different stakeholders.
Preferred:
•	Advanced knowledge of government regulatory compliance and quality control standards preferably in Automotive Industry
•	Knowledge in ISO 9001 and IATF quality system is highly preferred
•	Experience in preparing or reviewing technical documents such as PPAP package, FMEA, Control plan, Process flow including validation reports and other technical documents
•	Prior supplier quality management experience
