Job Duties and Tasks
• Planning and introducing efficient production methods to maximize company output.
• Analysing, understand the real time equipment issues, trouble shooting and finding permanent corrective actions by using problem solving tools.
• Advice and coordinate with plant maintenance engineers for Preventive and predictive maintenance optimizations. 
• Responsible for optimum Process routes, FMEA, control plans and preparation of working instructions and perform appropriate training for new product introduction, N.P.I. 
• Develop and introduce methods to increase productivity at the production line.
• Should take the responsibility of making sure the production is cost effective and as per the planed target.
• Provide appropriate information to production and quality departments. 
• Must keep a check on all machines involved in production and utilize technical knowledge effectively to maximize productivity and profit.
• Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.
• Ensure all Manufacturing Engineering activities are compliant with internal EH&S policies and procedures (Engineering safe systems of work), contractor activities.
• Research and analyse customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility and cost of manufacture.
• Provide feedback to design engineers on customer problems and needs.
• Recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.

Education qualifications:
• Electro mechanical Engineering background or 5 years industrial experience in similar capacity with HNC or Degree in a Technical or Engineering Discipline.
• Planning and organising skills, use of planning tools (e.g. MS Project).
• Working Knowledge of current E&HS regulations related to process equipment and facilities systems.
• Should have excellent communication skills.
