职责描述：

Overview

Given direct managerial guidance, provide project leadership targeting the successful development of new products with primary focus on product engineering, manufacturability, cost, quality and design aesthetics. 

Responsibilities

• Provide wide range project leadership for new product development efforts focusing on engineering, on-time delivery, manufacturing, cost, and design aesthetic needs; 

• Communicate with customer, cross functional team members, global colleagues, domestic or overseas vendors to fit in best practices into the design process, ensuring manufacturability and successful production delivery.

• Execute and maintain all product specific documentation as needed including assembly instructions (Technical Sheets), engineering reference documents and other additional documents; 

• Execute technologically driven solutions to achieve important product improvements. Improving product manufacturability, reducing manufacturing cost, increasing manufacturing capacity or improving product quality.

• Monitor engineering issues and problem-solve throughout the manufacturing process.

• Support additional Manufacturing and Engineering related projects as needed.

• Be responsible for training and providing leadership to Project Managers.



Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in New Product Development and Project Management.

• Ability to analyze complex engineering problems

• Ability to recognize and lessen risk and understand when upward reporting is necessary.

• Strong communication (English/Chinese written and verbal) skills 

• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

• Proven ability to work within a minimal supervision, fast-paced environment

• Proficient Microsoft Office computer skills (specifically Word, Excel, and Access)

• In-Design and Photoshop skills a plus

• Knowledge of modern manufacturing techniques, precious metal metallurgy and/or investment casting, plating

• Practical CAD knowledge a plus, specifically Rhino software

• Engineering or Project management background
