Job Purpose:

- Set up and implement all Supply Chain activities for new products from suppliers and customers

- Manage new products supply chain during all stages of project phase

- Participate in the line/industrial transfer projects

- Apply the supply chain standards to new products and suppliers

- Lead and coordinate the deployment of Group Supply Chain standards, guidelines, working methods, methodologies and tools in PSS sites and toward Suppliers of the region;



Key areas of accountability:

1. Set up and implement all Supply Chain activities for new products from suppliers and customers :

A. Prepare full physical distribution (FPD) in terms of logistics

B. Is responsible for correctives actions plan follow up after FPD

C. Implement all supply chain activities for products managed by project teams in term of :

a. Transportation flows: Internal (i.e. Small train) and External (i.e. Milk run)

b. Packaging: Small containers deployment and packaging standardization

c. Storage: Layout definition.

d. ERP system: Logistics MFG-pro readiness, system tools for logistics and EDI/Web EDI set up co-ordination.

D. Be involved in the definition of project logistics process standards.



2. Manage the all project phase of new products supply chain :

A. Make shipments of all project phase for deliveries.

B. Define components deliveries and finished goods schedules for pre serial production

C. Validate closed orders placed by purchasing

D. Make sure forecasts are sent to suppliers at least 3 months before SOP

E. Is responsible for project logistics issues until 6 months after SOP

F. Provide logistic and packaging costs during PCC activities

G. Validate the ‘break in/break out’ date/quantity in case of engineering change/ components modification



3. Participate in the line/industrial transfer projects :

A. Implement all supply chain activities for products managed by line transfer project teams



4. Apply the Supply Chain standards to new products and suppliers:

A.Define the logistics specifications in the VRF for each component.

B. Define the logistics protocol with suppliers and with customers.

C. Support activities to achieve and maintain the Quality Standards.

D. Perform and update the logistics FMEA for new projects.

E. Responsible for the application of safety standards and for adhering to QS9000, V5000, TS, V1000 and ISO  requirements where applicable.

F. Actively participate in and support the implementation of the PSS Production System.

G. Insure the implementation of PSS development strategies.



5. Lead and coordinate the deployment of Group Supply Chain standards, guidelines, working methods, methodologies and tools in PSS sites and toward Suppliers of the region.
