Position Requirements/ Experience:

 5 years+ working experience in a manufacturing environment.

 Extensive experience in Quality, Manufacturing, Development and New Product Introduction.

 3 years+ experience in managing a Quality Assurance Team.

 Certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor.

 ASQ and or TS internal auditor certification is preferred.

 Demonstrated high level of engagement and self-motivation

 Strong communications and interpersonal skills: presents ideas in a style that is clear, fluent and to-the-point

 Action/result oriented: Achieves high level, sustainable performance and results; is bottom-line oriented; steadfastly pushes self and encourages others to grasp ownership for achieving timely, quality, agreed upon results; is highly energetic;

Responsibilities:

 Select, manage and develop the Euro-Pro Floor Care Products Quality team at Supplier, deploying the Company’s goals into the Quality organization.

 Conduct periodic performance reviews of the Quality Team members, ensuring appropriate, frank and objective feedback to each Quality team member.

 Ensure compliance to regulations and corporate policies and procedures.

 Deploy the organization’s Quality Strategies and objectives within the Supplier’s organization.

 Monitor Supplier Ongoing Product Quality performance and initiate Continuous Improvement activities in order to achieve/ exceed the defined Supplier Quality Metrics.

 Monitor and asses the deployment of effective Quality Tools at Supplier (e.g. 7 Gates of Quality, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, systemic and ongoing review of PFMEA RPN reduction, etc).

 Provide VP Quality with regular reporting of Supplier Ongoing Product Quality performance.

 Support the NPD process and manage the NPI process at Supplier, ensuring it reflects DFSS and DFM (via the Manufacturing Engineering Group). Deliver own NPD/ NPI “Quality Work Packages” on time and required quality.

 Support and approve the Product Readiness activities for New products at Supplier.

 In conjunction with the appropriate senior management team, make final decision on product improvement and product shipment decisions.

 Ensures Supplier conducts product testing as per the schedule agreed with Euro-Pro. Report and lead failure investigations for product failures.

 Review of Customer return data ensuring appropriate analysis and correlation with process performance lead to sustained improvement activities at the supplier. Provide Quality Engineering support for customer complaint investigation

 Monitor the ECN Process at Supplier, ensuring the timely closure of ECN’s.

 Monitor the VSR process to ensure all relevant issues are listed. Ensure that closure of NPI related issues is based on robust root cause analysis and objective evidence.

 Ensure that the CAR process is updated including Root Cause Analysis and monitor the performance against the set metrics for CARs. Approve closure of CARs.

 Monitor and approve the introduction of proposed new key sub-suppliers, ensuring that major quality risks are identified and addressed by supplier.



Education/Certifications/Affiliations

 Degree in a technical discipline eg. Mechanical, Electronic, Electrical, Material, Industrial science or engineering.

 Knowledgeable and experienced in ISO9001 (Documented Processes and Procedures).

 Knowledge of SA8000 (Social Accountability Practices), ISO (Environmental Practices), C-TPAT (Transportation-Storage Security Compliant) is preferred.
