Job Purpose: 

To lead environmental, health and safety management system in line with business strategy and related compliance based on ISO & OHSAS standards, Chinese law’s requirement to achieve EHS goals.



Key areas of accountability:

• Sep up Environment, Healthy, Safety system/Structure for APAC region

• Facilitates process and provides technical and administrative services such as industrial hygiene sampling, ergonomic evaluations, and energy conservation surveys to ensure compliance with EHS regulations. Specific attention is needed to evaluate and ensure compliance with local EHS requirements.

• Establishes local goals and objectives along with timely and accurate reporting mechanisms in support of APAC direction.

• Chooses fiscally and socially responsible methods of reducing operational environmental.

• Continuously identifies, assesses, and reduces/eliminates EHS potential risks

• Establishes and maintains relationships with governmental authorities on matters of mutual concern, maintenance of environmental permits, submission of required reports, and maintenance of data.

• Provides for timely EHS training of employees.

• Investigates incidents (including near misses, releases, and losses) and accidents to determine root causes and prepares/directs corrective and preventive action plans.

• Initiates efforts to improve environmental conditions in the community and to foster employee wellness and off-the-job safety.

• Plans and directs response to emergency situations dealing with the environment, employees, or the community.

• Directs development, maintenance, and achievement of goals in support of strategic initiatives designed to produce verifiable world-class performance.

• Maintain factory facilities.









Job scope:

Work with people across all levels of the organization, and lead EHS activities on daily basis. 

• Managing EHS objectives and targets;

• Investigation of incidents and establishment of corrective and preventive action plans;

• Communication of regulatory requirements; 

• Directing industrial hygiene sampling and support, and providing necessary support for site programs such as ergonomics, sustainability, and injury elimination;

• Accurate and complete EHS reporting of metrics; 

• Assuring self-assessments are thoroughly completed on a timely basis; 

• Completion of required training; 

• Managing interfaces with governmental authorities; 

• Directing actions during crises; 

• Management of workers’ environment.







Qualification:

• Bachelor‘s Degree in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental discipline or equivalent

• 8+ years of experience with an emphasis in environmental, health and safety program management

• Ability to demonstrate managerial courage

• Strong organizational skills

• Conscientious and has good time management for prioritizing

• Has proven competencies on handling emergency tasks/Detailed and good following up

• Good interpersonal and communication skills/influential presentation skill

• Good communication skills in both English and Mandarin

• Good team player and quick learner, and self-motivated, can work under high pressure
