Position Summary



The Supply Chain Manager works in a highly cross functional environment, interacting with Demand Planning, Logistics, Marketing, and Sales teams. This position will work closely with the Sales and Demand Planning departments in an effort to collaboratively forecast and replenish products according to demand projections. The principle requirement is to co-ordinate and secure timely flow of products throughout the Supply Chain from suppliers through to our end customers and the company Distribution Centers.

Duties & Responsibilities



Operations:



• Manage Order Review, Replenishment, and relationships with suppliers.

• Coordinate strategies with Demand Planning, Logistics, and the suppliers.

• Ensure strategies pertaining to seasonal demand and supply fluctuations are executed.

• Build and foster relationship with representatives from suppliers to enhance relationship.



Projects:



• Identify, recommend and implement continuous process improvement opportunities within the replenishment process to improve the overall effectiveness of the supply chain impacting service level, lead time, on hand inventory, turns, inbound profitability and customer cost per case.



Leadership:



• Coach, mentor, train and develop Supply Chain Analysts (SCA) and provide feedback to the Director, Supply Chain regarding coaching and training progress of colleagues.

• Complete Annual performance assessments for analysts, provide coaching & constructive feedback all year round to develop skill set.

• Be an ambassador for Supply Chain by leading by example and providing the highest level of productive collaboration with the suppliers.



Salary: $k CAD, depends on the qualification. 



Qualifications & Requirements



• Post-Secondary education in Industrial Engineering/Logistics/Business or a related discipline.

• 5+ years relevant experience in a leadership capacity and within a Supply Chain environment.

• Excellent knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain.

• Must have the ability to understand the impact decisions may have on all facets of the supply chain.

• Demonstrate leadership abilities and have superior communication, interpersonal, team-building, analytical and facilitation skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Detail oriented and able to handle multiple priorities in a faced-paced environment to prioritize effectively.

• Must be able to deal effectively with all levels of management.

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

• Must be analytical and systems-oriented.

• Must be driven to improve processes and take initiative to highlight opportunities.

• Exceptionally strong Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel.

• System and data knowledge of SAP F&R module considered an asset.
