KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Edit inj. molding tool specification for RfQ (rough tool concept, select component and steel)

2. Participate in the tooling technical feasibility analysis and support tooling quotation technically

3. Release DFM, design of tooling (based on 2D/3D-drawings)

4. Responsible for tooling quality and follow up tooling manufacturing schedule 

5. Responsible for the tooling trial out (preparation, execution, documentation)

6. Responsible for functional release (disassembly, inspection, functional check, etc.)

7. Communicate/ propose dimensional corrections



QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

- 5 years’ experience in inj. molding tool manufacturing industry

- 3 years’ experience in 3D parametric CAD-construction (UG, Pro/E, Solidworks)

- Familiar with western tool standard components and Hot Runner Systems 

- Fluent in English listening, speaking and written

- Have good interpersonal relation, communication skills and ability of organization and coordination



KNOWLEDGE:

•Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar

•Thorough understanding of injection molding equipment, parameters, processes and controls, including double shot and insert molding, IML molding

•Proficient in 3D CAD packages such as Pro E or Solidworks, UG and mold flow analysis software packages

•Demonstrated problem solving skills and a proven record of tooling supplier management

•Knowledge of SPC, GD&T, GR&R, DOE, CPK and CMK methodology.
