Important European Large Retailer, with more than 628 stores, is looking for several position in our Sourcing Offices in Ningbo.

1 will cover non-electrical Christmas decoration, back to school, arts & craft and stationary 



非电子圣诞装饰品类的采购员, 开学季、工艺品和文具类的采购员



Job Responsibilities

 

Identify opportunities to improve sourcing process and product specification for price negotiation

Keep abreast of the market trend to perform cost analysis, policy changes and recommend appropriate suppliers to buyers. 

Regularly provide market intelligence including but not limited to product trend, product technology, innovation to buyers and introduce latest products through market research, trade fairs.

Develop, evaluate and train potential new vendors to enlarge vendor profiles for meeting sourcing needs

Act as liaison and communication channel between internal and external parties such as buyers, QA team, vendors or etc... Ensure full understanding and comply with company policies and systems under management directions. 

Closely work with vendors and ensure the quality merchandises to be delivered to stores on time. 

Cost analysis, identify and evaluate cost saving opportunities among existing sourcing

Job Requirement

 

Degree holder in Merchandising Management or related discipline 

Minimum 2 years sourcing experience in Hardline categories, preferably in a foreign buying office. 

Solid sourcing and development experience with good vendor connection in global market 

Strong planning, organizing and communication skills

Good team player, flexible, problem solving

Strong negotiation, presentation and organizational skills

Excellent command in both written and verbal English 

Up to 40% travel
