 SUMMARY 

Take the major responsibility for firmware/software test for Server and Storage, Networking, Telecom projects. Provide necessary inputs to design engineers for design quality assurance. Drive innovation and continuous improvement within Jabil Circuit by harnessing new design technologies and methodologies. Provide exceptional support to external and internal customers, team members, and other persons through technical project cooperation. 



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following: 



 The individual would be responsible for designing and implementing functional tests and planning test cycles for features implemented by the Design engineering organization.

 The candidate has to be able to understand Server and Storage, Networking, Telecom products architecture and how different features may affect each other; develop test strategies at the group and cross-functional levels, and drive their implementation through technical leadership of cross-functional test development teams.

 The candidate should have the technical understanding to work directly with software developers to influence design changes to improve quality and testability of the software. 

 The candidate would also write and automate tests and plan test configurations. 

Person Background: 

 Good knowledge of x86 architecture & OS interaction with Windows or Linux etc.

 Having at least 2 years BIOS/BMC firmware test experience, better to have system integration test experience.

 Having work experience on Server, Storage or Telecom, Networking products.

 Having experience on Linux environmental and familiar with Linux operation.

 Having experience on test tools such as IPMI tool, RU, IOMeter, Iperf etc.

 Having good capability on document generation to report issue and create test relevant documents.

 Having good analysis capability to debug issue and extend test cases.

 Having at least basic level of English language, can write mails and issues in English well.

 Having good capability to deal with new challenge and heavy work loading.

The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual capable of working with a minimum of supervision in a dynamic team environment. Good interpersonal skills: be able to communicate in English and with members of other teams, departments and clients; as a high degree of liaison is needed.
