 Job Description

1) Responsible for cooling solution for board, system and rack level product, provide detail simulation analysis with air mover selection and heat sink design. Telecom and networking thermal design experience is preferred (Including NEBS, I-temp and ETSI). 

2) Experience in wide range of designs is preferred. Cooling solutions will be required for Customer Premises, Access, Metro, Edge and datacenter solutions. These will range from passive cooling to forced convection.

3) Understand the requirement specifications from customer and system design, co-work with ME, EE and PCB layout to design cooling solution which can meet requirements with competitive cost.

4) Develop thermal test plan and perform thermal, air flow/impedance measurement; RCCA any thermal issue and document test report.

5) Develop fan speed control policy and cooperate with firmware to implement it on product.



Requirements:



1) Master degree or above in Thermal Engineering or equivalent.

2) 5+ years experience in thermal design

3) Proficient in Flotherm.

4) Good mechanical knowledge and basic skill to use Creo.

5) Good skills on temperature/airflow measurement; Familiar with thermal test tool such as temperature data logger, IR camera, air chamber, etc.

6) Good communication skills, fluent oral&written English.

7) Team work spirit, be proactive and accountable, result-oriented
