GENERAL FUNCTION

Provide costing analysis to the Brand Team and the Costing organization. Defines and measures the financial impact of various product strategies, initiatives, and assist the Brands and the Costing manager to achieve the Gross Price Margin targets


PRIMARY DUTIES


 Performs duties consistent with the company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.
 Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.
 Business Analysis:  Works with Factory, Developers, Brand Team and Costing Team to review and interpret factory cost break down sheet and its impact on the gross pricing margin.
 Provides and performs Seasonal pre costing.  Meets the seasonal costing deadline as per critical development gates and dates.  Scenario analysis regarding materials, component, technology, productivity and foreign exchange changes to help team to achieve target gross price margin per season according to the seasonal critical dates. Review historical information and models to prepare and present information to the brand team and costing manager to help establish target fob and factory negotiation.
 Communication:  Effectively communicates pertinent costing model information to the brand and the Costing organization.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED  

 Technical: System skills, computer literacy, proficiency in data mining skills and tools
 Analysis skill: able to interpret factory cost structure and review costing sheet accuracy
 Communication/Language:  English and Mandarin language -  effective communication in verbal and written including presentation.  Ability to clearly articulate policies and instructions.  Ability to share ideas and develop effective responses or elevate to higher management.
 Teamwork skill:  Ability to work cooperatively with peers and others.  Ability to network and utilize internal and external resources.
 Ability to use a tool or software for material usage and pattern modification to achieve the optimal pattern efficiency
