We are heavy and experienced user on AWS global and AWS china but we’re also expanding fast on Alibaba Cloud and Tmall Cloud support our business growth in China and APAC. We’re a fully cloud company and build/operate our systems with leading-edge technology (Apache/Ngix, mySQL/noSQL, Redis, Varnish, Memcached, and is in transitioning to container solution (Docker,AWS ECS/EKS, Aliyun Container Service) and even serverless (AWS Lambda, Aliyun FunctionCompute). We work on DevOps methodology, maintaining CI/CD pipelines for our developers to agilely deliver new features to our platform.

What you’ll be doing here

We are looking for a network engineer to take the lead in further optimizing our network infrastructures among our offices, retail stores and clouds, both locally and globally. You will be responsible for the overall architecture of network backbones underlying DW global infrastructures. We’re using some leading-edge technology (SDN, VxLAN, IPSec/SSL VPN, Cisco/Meraki, 4G IoT, BGP) and you have a team of talented professionals on your back for the other parts. You’re responsible for architecting, configuring, monitoring and troubleshooting our interconnection infrastructure in a bilingual work environment. And your work is essential to the company as we rely on a borderless network to centralize our data flows and enable data-driven decision-making capability.

Who we hope you are

· Full working proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English

· Academic degree in computer science or related

· Minimum 3 year of working as a networking specialist or equivalent

· Experience with Cloud, AWS, Alibaba Cloud, Tmall Cloud, or Azure

· Experience with Scripting (Shell, Python, Go or other scripting language)

· Good Knowledge of routing, switching, TCP/IP and/or other common protocols

· Experience of IPSec/SSL VPN

· Good Knowledge of network monitoring & troubleshooting

· Problem-solver with proven record

What we would love to see from you

· Experience of SDN is strongly preferred

· Experience of Cisco/Meraki networking is strongly preferred

· Experience of the following AWS services (or equivalent cloud services) is strongly preferred.

· VPC, ELB/ALB/NLB, DirectConnect

· Experience of Multi-clouds interconnection

· Experience of Internetworking
