2010年10月28日博西家用电器投资（中国）有限公司在南京市鼓楼区成立，主要是作为博西家电集团在华地区总部和全资子公司，投资和管理所有集团在华子公司及销售家电产品，为其投资企业提供财务、人事、信息技术、供应链管理等服务。2011年12月，博西家用电器投资（中国）有限公司被南京市人民政府根据商务部规定认定为南京市首家跨国公司地区总部。2012年8月31日，其被江苏省商务厅认定为江苏省第三家跨国公司地区总部。 
　　截至2012年7月，博西家用电器投资（中国）有限公司注册资本达26,253.6万美金，在华员工约9,400人。公司打造了从采购、研发、生产、物流为一体的全产业链体系，生产或销售的产品品类包括：家用电冰箱、洗衣机、厨房电器、电热水器、小家电产品以及进口产品如洗碗机和烤箱；在华主要产品品牌为西门子、博世、嘉格纳、康西达，其中西门子家电品牌多年占据中国家电市场第一外资品牌宝座。 
　　作为博西家电集团在华总部，博西家用电器投资（中国）有限公司控股博西家电集团在华投资的其它六家公司，包括位于南京、无锡、安徽滁州的三家生产基地和位于南京的销售公司和售后服务公司。中国现已成为博西家电集团全球最重要的生产基地、研发基地之一和亚太地区的数据中心。

On October 28, 2010, BSH Home Appliances Holding (China) Co., Ltd. was founded in Nanjing’s Gulou District. As BSH Group’s regional headquarters in China and its wholly-owned subsidiary, the company is responsible for investment and management of all of the Group’s subsidiaries in China as well as sales of home appliance products, providing financial, HR, information technology, supply chain management services to its invested enterprises. In December 2011, BSH Home Appliances Holding (China) Co., Ltd. was recognized by Nanjing Municipal People’s Government as Nanjing’s first regional headquarters of a transnational company under Ministry of Commerce regulations. On August 31, 2012, it was recognized by the Department of Commerce of Jiangsu Province as the third regional headquarters of a transnational company in Jiangsu Province. 
As of July 2012, the registered capital of BSH Home Appliances Holding (China) Co., Ltd., which employs about 9,400 employees in China, reached USD 262.536 million. The company has forged a whole industrial chain system integrating purchase, R&D, production and logistics. The types of products manufactured or sold by the company include home refrigerators, washing machines, kitchen appliances, electrical water heaters, small home appliance products as well as imported products such as dishwashers and ovens. Major product brands in China are Siemens, Bosch, Gaggenau and Constructa, among which Siemens has been the top foreign brand in China’s home appliances market for many years. 
As BSH Group’s headquarters in China, BSH Home Appliances Holding (China) Co., Ltd. has controlling stakes in six other companies invested by BSH Group in China, including three manufacturing bases in Nanjing, Wuxi, and Chuzhou in Anhui Province, and a Nanjing-based sales company and after-sales service company. China has become one of BSH Group’s most important production and R&D bases in the world and data center in the Asia Pacific region. 
The establishment and growth of BSH Home Appliances Holding (China) Co., Ltd. fully demonstrates BSH Group’s acknowledgement of the investment environment in Jiangsu and Nanjing as well as its confidence in the prospect of China’s economic development. Although BSH Group started in the manufacturing industry when it entered China, it gradually expanded into the commercial field and R&D and even founded a holding company and transnational regional headquarters. This growth trajectory is an embodiment of its proactive response to industrial chain extension, functional chain expansion, and enhancement of value chain as advocated by the Chinese government.
