YOUR ROLE
We are looking for an exceptionally creative, trend-aware, and highly capable Senior Furniture Designer to join our team. This role is responsible for developing new and exciting kitchen and furniture designs that combine strong aesthetics, practicality, and manufacturability. The ideal candidate has a true passion for design innovation, follows the latest market trends, understands materials in depth, and can turn ideas into beautiful, functional, and production-ready products. You must be fluent in AutoCAD for technical drawings and highly capable in 3D modeling and rendering for presentation, display, and client communication.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead Design & Development
Lead and manage the end-to-end furniture design process: concept → prototype → production.
Coordinate design activities to ensure timely delivery and technical correctness.
Point of Contact for International Business
Act as the primary point of contact for our international clients/partners.
Manage design communication, feedback, and revisions with global stakeholders.
Lead and Guide Design Team
Lead, mentor, and guide the design team to execute projects to spec and standard.
Drive design quality, documentation, and design execution alignment across teams.
Develop Furniture Collections
Develop furniture collections aligned with brand positioning and market requirements.
Research trends, customer needs, and competitive direction to support product strategy.
Technical Design & Construction Methods
Define optimal construction methods, including:
           joinery and structural design
      assembly approach and manufacturability
Select and specify appropriate materials and components to meet performance, cost, and durability goals.
Material Strategy
Select appropriate wood types and material mixes, including:
      solid wood; veneer; engineered wood etc
Procurement Support
Support procurement activities by ensuring material specifications are clear and obtainable.
Secure the right solutions/materials and work with purchasing to reduce risks and ensure production continuity.
Work closely with Engineering, Production, Sales and Procurement to ensure designs are visually strong, technically correct and practical for manufacturing
Qualifications & Requirements
Degree or above in Interior Design/ Architecture or related design disciplines
Minimum 8 years working experience in interior design/ architect firms and/ or 5 years of working experience with developers
AutoCAD / 3DStudio Max (or similar 3D modeler)/ Photoshop / Microsoft Office
Good and innovative design sense
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Fluency in English and Mandarin
