Responsibilities:

•	Perform product design, create 2D/3D CAD drawing with SolidWorks and engineering analysis
•	Work independently or with others on the selection, design, modification, optimization, and testing of components and products. 
•	Conduct cross functional reviews with peers to assure design integrity and compliance with product specifications and recognized industry design practices.
•	Identify mechanical risks and trade-offs between mechanical design, tooling issues, cost, and schedule, and resolve all of projects mechanical development issues.
•	Support Hong Kong and Sweden team in design verification and product validation
•	Coordinate with production team and suppliers for product development and enhancement projects.
•	Track and report project status related to mechanical design and development.
•	Prepare project progress reports, meeting slides, SOPs, and APQP related documents.
•	Support Marketing on technical activities to win new business and help resolve quality issues.
•	Mentor junior engineers and perform ad hoc tasks assigned by head of engineering.

Requirements: 
•	25-40 years old. Degree Holder in Mechanical, Engineering or similar. 
•	At least 5 years relevant working experience. Applicants with significant years of experience and highly skilled in mechanical design can be considered as Senior mechanical design engineer.
•	Able to generate technical drawing and specification document. Good understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) is a plus.
•	Familiar with 2D/3D mechanical CAD/CAE design tools, e.g. SolidWorks, FEA, etc.
•	Prior experience with Child Safety restraint or Automotive product design and standards is an advantage but not required.
•	Work independently and able to communicate in teamwork; Good command of English and Chinese, articulate report writing/presentation skills as well as abilities in literature/patent search.
•	Analytical, Innovative and good problem-solving skill with strong sense of ownership and good interpersonal skill is highly preferred.
