In restructuring service, we improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the finance function and generate real insights to help deliver value to the business. We are looking for Senior Consultant candidate with prior experience. The value and quality of our services enable us to assist the client to navigate through various business issues and risks associated with the rapidly changing business and economic environment.





Responsibilities

• Perform financial analysis and provide implementation services for liquidations, bankruptcy, restructuring and receiverships; 

• Develop integrated financial modelling / projections, cash flow budgets, and other support as needed

• Draft reports for partner/manager review and report findings to clients in a timely manner

• Report to the engagement partners / managers, serve in charge of the day-to-day project, managing project requirements in addition to developing and presenting specific analyses for clients and tracking overall project status and risks

• Bring operational project experience and knowledge of the financial services sectors, corporation services sectors, state-owned enterprise related industry, valuation, or auditor and to provide insight to the project teams

• Provide experience based, content rich advice to clients regarding issues relevant to financial analysis, corporate recovery, restructuring, exit strategies, non performing or distressed investments, and insolvency, so that issues and risks can be mitigated and solutions can be developed

• Develop, maintain and sustain relationships with existing and prospective clients

• Develop and coach junior team members

• Assist with the creation and development of proposals and attend client meetings

• Ensure compliance with KPMG ethical, confidentiality and work policies and quality / performance standards





Experience

• 2-5 years’experience working on state-owned enterprise industry, investor professional service and finance related service in big state-owned banks or financial sectors 

• Interested in deal related services; In-depth understanding of financial analysis or independent business reviews, corporate recovery, restructuring, debt advisory, sell side advisory and distressed asset disposal; and/or insolvency, exit strategy, liquidation, receivership and bankruptcy services

• Accounting qualification (CPA, CIMA or CPV equivalent) preferred

• A self-motivated team player with strong communication and analytical skills 

• Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel and, in particular, PowerPoint

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin

• Excellent interpersonal and business development skills

• Proven ability to operate effectively in a highly matrix professional services environment; Open-minded and excellent learning skill

• Willingness to work as part of a team to meet aggressive client deadlines in a fast paced environment

• Willingness to travel
