Position Overview
As a Social Media Manager, you will take the lead in crafting and executing a comprehensive social media strategy to grow our presence on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, YouTube, and beyond. You will work closely with and lead the content production team to plan, create, and execute campaigns that drive audience engagement, build brand loyalty, and generate leads. This role requires strong creativity, a good sense of art, and the ability to create content that captivates and inspires.
Key Responsibilities
Content Planning & Strategy
Develop and implement a data-driven social media strategy to achieve business objectives across Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms.
Lead the creation of content calendars and campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall marketing goals.
Research current social media trends, competitor activity, and audience preferences to inform content plans.
Brainstorm and execute creative campaigns that resonate with the target audience.
Content Creation & Leadership
Work with and lead the content production team (designers, writers, and video editors) to create high-quality, visually appealing, and engaging content, including posts, videos, infographics, and stories.
Provide guidance, feedback, and leadership to ensure all content aligns with the brand voice, tone, and goals.
Oversee the execution of content plans, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
Social Media Marketing & Advertising
Plan and execute paid social media campaigns to drive traffic, engagement, and lead generation.
Manage social media advertising budgets and optimize campaigns for maximum ROI.
Create and test ad creatives, copy, and targeting strategies to achieve business goals.
Audience Building & Engagement
Grow and nurture our followers on Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms, focusing on building a loyal, engaged community.
Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Develop and execute campaigns to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
Analytics and Optimization
Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics (engagement rates, reach, clicks, conversions, etc.) using tools like Facebook Insights, Instagram Analytics, and Google Analytics.
Use data to refine strategies, optimize content, and improve campaign performance.
Prepare monthly performance reports and present actionable insights to the team.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:
8+ years of experience as a Social Media Manager or in a similar role (preferred).
Proficiency in English (both written and verbal) is required.
Strong knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms, including their algorithms and best practices.
Experience in content planning, advertising, campaigns, and social media lead generation.
Proficiency in using content scheduling tools.
Familiarity with social media advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager, Instagram Ads).
Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to create engaging and on-brand captions, posts, and ads.
Good sense of art, with the ability to produce visually appealing and aesthetically aligned content.
Strong project management and organizational skills to oversee content creation and execution.
Preferred Skills:
Proven experience in building and growing audiences on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, and other platforms.
Knowledge of graphic design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
Excellent video editing skills for long or short-form content (e.g., Instagram Reels).
Creativity is key—a strong ability to think outside the box and develop unique, engaging campaigns.
Proficiency in AI tools is preferred.
A portfolio of previous work is a plus and will be highly valued.
