Contribute to a culture of innovation by open discussion, generating novel concepts and enhancements for materials, by identifying relevant trends, and translating these into internal innovation proposals. 2. Research and Development of new materials and surface treatments (incl. adhe-sives) for sealing applications, via the use of new materials, unconventional material combinations, innovative surface technologies, concepts and ideas 3. Support Advanced Technology and Business Development in all its stages as rec-ognized material and surface technologies expert 4. Contribute to other teams in R&D, sales, engineering and innovation in mutual de-velopment projects 5. In collaboration with T&I laboratories carry out advanced component tests and mate-rial analyses to improve the final products 6. Keep close contact to material suppliers, and monitor the market for new materials 7. Planning and management of material development projects at global level 8. Coordinate the Material and Surface technology projects between the T&I group in Europe and in Asia. 9. Support of Datwyler research and development activities worldwide 10. Initiate and supervise collaboration with universities and research institutes 11. Document your work in project reports, protect your inventions by patents, and pub-lish your research results in specialist publications, or in the form of presentations at conferences 

Qualification: 
1.Maste degree, More than 5 years working experience in rubber, especially “thermoset rubber” 2.Specific knowledge in one or more of following fields: elastomers, thermoplastics, nanomaterials, or surface chemistry 3.Constructive, team-player, open-minded, innovative, problem-solver, committed, communicative and well structured, with the ability to work independently 4.Good written, reading or oral English ability. 5.Willingness to work in Dongguan area 6.Flexible to business travel

职位描述：

Primary Responsibilities/Activities:
1.Responsible for identifying target opportunities in Automotive Industry that use high engineered electric connector seals, insulator seals and other industry sealing components then driving and managing those opportunities, includes providing direct customer sales and technical support.
2.Responsible for communicating and reporting opportunities, activities, itineraries, and program developments to sales management including all field information concerning markets, applications, customers and competitors.
3.Develop a database of qualified leads and customers through referrals, telephone canvassing and cold calling, face to face visits, email, networking, and trade shows
4.Establish contacts within automotive OEM&Tire1 engineering groups at design level in order to promote the use of QSR product early in the development phase of new programs. Ensure the flow of information between technical support in oversea or China plant and the customers
5.Provide updated forecasting information for assigned QSR customers in China by customer and product.
6.Demonstrate the ability to carry on business communication with both engineering and purchasing people and all levels within the company.
7.Assist in the coordination and setting up of the possible trade shows within the territory.
8.Work closely with the plant in China to facilitate customer visits and questions concerning the business

Required Experience /Knowledge:
•Minimum 6 years working experience with 3 years in automotive Industry related
•Technical knowledge of silicone elastomers, successful sales or engineering backgrounds in automotive rubber sealing and components
•Strong technical, analytical, and problem solving skills, understand the product development process, APQP and PPAP standards.
