As the Assistant Quality Assurance Manager for Huizhou Longji Electronics Co. Ltd.,(A subsidiary of Totex Manufacturing Inc.), you would lead the quality team to work across multi-functional teams to achieve high quality and lead time service levels.
You will be responsible for ensuring that the product manufactured meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations.
You would monitor and drive quality/ process improvements using quality tool and lean manufacturing methodologies. In addition, to drive the appropriate level of standardization at the same time to monitor the effectiveness of the quality management system.
This position will also report to the headquarter in the USA and work closely with manufacturing team in Huizhou facility to establish and meet the strategic quality needs.

Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the day-to-day workflow and schedules of the department include QA/ QC/ QMS.
Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality department such as defect rates, customer complaints, and product returns, and report on these metrics regularly to US headquarter.
Drive resolution to quality and reliability issues by leading quality team to work with manufacturing, engineering, PMC team to achieve high quality standards.
Maintain accurate records of quality/ process data and analyze the data thoroughly to identify the opportunities for continuous improvement.
Work closely with production and engineering teams to lead the improvement of product quality and manufacturing processes.
Develop execute validation protocols for new and existing manufacturing processes, including equipment, facilities, utilities, and systems. Collaborate with process engineer, quality engineer and production team to execute process validation reports that document the results of validation activities, including statistical analyses and conclusions per customer/ organization requirement.
Develop and lead cross-functional teams to implement the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process for new product development, in accordance with industry standards and customer requirements.
Develop and maintain procedures for the Measurement System Analysis (MSA) activities, and ensure that procedures are consistent with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Oversee and monitoring MSA process for manufacturing operations.
Ensure that all the legal standards are met and review thoroughly the existing policies and standards.
Identify the training requirements to meet the quality standards, train quality staff on best practices and new procedures.
Ensure the effectiveness of Quality Management System at the same time align with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001.
Lead failure analysis and reliability including the development of systems to monitor customer complaints, corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs), field failures and SPC trend.
Collaborate with Design, Test, Product Engineeri and Manufacturing teams to approach quality proactively ensuring best practices are followed to design products for quality and are completely verified/validated according to customer requirements.
Coordinate the planning and execution of customer and ISO audits, in accordance with audit schedules and customer requirements.
Work with cross-functional teams to address any audit findings, including developing and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) and tracking progress against CAPAs.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality assurance, or related field.
Strong leadership skills, with experience managing a quality team for more than 3 years.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify potential quality risks.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with ISO13485 or similar quality management system standard.
Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel. High computer proficiency – ability to use Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin.
