<p align=center><b></b></p><p align=center><b></b></p><h2>who we are: </h2><br><p><a name=ole_link2></a><a name=ole_link1>merkle, inc. is the nation’s largest and fastest growing customer relationship marketing (crm) agency with a team of over 1,600 exceptionally talented professionals working throughout the united states, europe, and china. this is a place where exceptionally talented people want to be -- a place where they can harness their skills, build enduring relationships, and do remarkable things they otherwise wouldn’t. </a></p><p>merkle is also a place where clients want to do business. for more than 20 years, many of the world’s top brands, financial institutions and leading nonprofit organizations have partnered with us to maximize the value of their customer portfolios. our clients include dell, directv, microsoft, nike, samsung, bank of america, jp morgan chase, the american cancer society, and susan komen for the cure to name just a few.</p><p>we’ve created an ecosystem where talented people can be comfortable and thrive. we wear jeans. we bring our dogs to work. we let off steam with some pool or foosball. we have fun. but we also work hard. we execute. we innovate. we achieve. we take care or our clients, and each other.</p><p>a company filled with this level of talent and passion is going to get noticed. and we are proud of the recognition we’ve received. we’ve been recognized by forrester research as a “<b>leader in database marketing</b>” 3 consecutive times. we’ve been named a “<b>best place to work</b>” by baltimore magazine in 2009, 2010 and 2011. and our ceo, david williams, was named “<b>ceo of the year</b>” by smartceo magazine.</p><p>so if you’re smart, passionate, fun, and committed, consider joining merkle, where you’ll fit right in.</p><h2>what we need: </h2><br><p>we are looking for an analytically minded ad optimization specialist for merkle’s digital media optimization (dmo) group, which is responsible for display, programmatic, video, and paid social advertising. you will have the opportunity to be a part of an innovative, fast growing team focused on revolutionizing digital media planning and buying, in the context of a multi-channel data driven approach.</p><p>we are looking for smart, passionate, and experienced professionals who want to be part of an innovative team in a rapidly evolving industry.</p><p>this position will work closely with the digital media optimization group in the united states. </p><br><h2>what you will do:</h2><br><p>the ad optimization specialist is a role on our growing platform solutions team (within dmo), which provides product and technology expertise and solutions in all phases of digital advertising campaigns. the platforms solutions team works closely with the media services, analytics and technology teams across merkle’s offices in the us and in china. together, these teams work collaboratively to plan, execute, measure, and optimize advertising initiatives for our clients. we’re looking for an analytical and web-savvy problem solver to help launch, troubleshoot, and measure client campaigns across multiple industry leading ad platforms, all while improving existing processes through initiatives of automation, documentation, and scale. the ideal candidate is curious and tenacious in solving problems, as well as an expert communicator � comfortable translating complex details to audiences of different technical knowledge. </p><ul type=disc><li>master industry leading ad platforms, including ad servers and dsps</li><li>manage campaign timelines and deliverables across internal and external teams</li><li>implement, qa, and troubleshoot ad campaigns using leading third party and merkle platforms</li><li>partner with merkle’s us team to help drive services delivery at scale</li><li>act as in-house platform expert and escalation point on product and technology issues</li><li>document best practices and seek out opportunities to improve existing processes</li><li>assist in the development of new internal products and in the vetting and on-boarding of new third party ad platforms</li></ul><p>this position reports to the senior manager, digital media optimization. </p><br><br><h2>qualifications:</h2><br><p>merkle will consider entry level candidates for this position. </p><ul type=disc><li>6 to 24 months experience in ad operations, client services, consulting or project management preferred </li><li>prior experience with an ad server or demand side platform a plus (dcm, mediamath, etc.) </li><li>strong english speaking and writing skills</li><li>experience with pixels / measurement beacons a plus </li><li>passion for solving problems with technical solutions </li><li>ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high energy environment </li><li>fluency in the language of digital media: impressions, ctr, cpms, conversions </li><li>proficiency in excel, including formulas </li><li>knowledge of html; experience with image editing </li><li>sharp problem solving and troubleshooting skills </li><li>passion for building, and a strong customer service gene </li><li>an entrepreneurial spirit, desire to "change the game", self starter attributes </li><li>enthusiasm for advertising and for connecting with customers in the digital age</li><li>location is nanjing or shanghai.</li></ul>查看更多
