Job requirement of Design engineer-mechanical
Title: Design engineer-mechanical
Reporting to :Mechanical Design Manager,Shenzhen

Responsibilities:
1) New product developing
A.     Mechanical Design for New Product Development
B.     Analyzing product failures and designing solutions
C.    Generation of concepts and layouts of systems
D.    Detailed design of components and products 
E.     Project managment , PPAP document preparation,ECN release
2) Product development supporting
A.    Help optimizing product design
B.   Component procurement support for other project under request
C.   Project management or co-ordination under request
H.   Transfer of designs to manufacture, working with both internal department and external suppliers
I:    Analyzing quality,assembly etc's improvement under request
J:   Under request from US team's request,help US team to manage project, product design and supplier following etc.
K:  Provide technical service to client under project manager or sales team's request
L.   Writing technical reports and producing high quality design documentation
M.  Troubleshooting mass production issues, leading the internal team to come up with solutions and solve issues on time
N.  Other tasks assigned by company

Professional Requirements:
To meet the requirements of this role you should have a high level of practical experience with proven technical skills, and have spent significant time in a mechanical, electrical and electronic engineering design environment. 
1)   Good education degree in an mechanical,engineering  or equivalent major
2)  Have good knowledge about all kinds of manufacturing process such as injection mold,die casting, stamping, sheetmetal and assembly process,understand characteristic of raw materials such as plastics,metal etc.
3)  Many years(5+) experience of ISO and TS16949 documentation procedure
4)  Many years(5+) of working experience in medical device will be preferred
5)  Be skillful of 3D/2D design using Pro/E or Solidworks, Pro/E is preferred
6)  Able to read and write English fluently, with good English speaking
7)  Able to communicate and interact effectively with customers, management and other team members
8)  A self starter, well motivated and enthusiastic, able to work with with minimum supervision
9)  Able to use computers and office software
