Essential functions:
	Engage our sales team and customers 
	Understand the requirements and challenges for each project.
	Effectively communicate with customers, suppliers, and within the BTS team.
	Work with a variety of product designs, drawings, CAD models, sketches, prototype
parts, etc.
	Provide quick budgetary quotes and fully detailed quotes while juggling multiple quotes
at a time:
	Effective oral and written communications with customers, suppliers, and within the BTS team in English.
	Estimate new projects, make changes to existing equipment, develop a quote that includes out of production customer capital, etc.

Required competency, education, and experience:
	BS in related Engineering discipline, or related job experience 
	3+ years of related work experience- direct experience/positions held where specialty
machines and/or equipment estimating duties were part of daily responsibilities  
o Extensive experience and knowledge of Industrial Automation, manufacturing
techniques/best practices
	Proven experience with estimating the following: 
o Purchasing supply items (robots, pumps, motors, turntables, conveyers,
materials, controls, outsourced design, etc.);
o Processing (developing a suitable manufacturing process including cycle times,
labor requirements, past movements, etc.); and
o Providing detailed itemization of entire project cost
	Must have knowledge in the following areas:. 
o Metals industry
o Testing equipment
o Adhesive/bonding
o Plastics (assembly, sonic welding, hot plate welding, heat staking, ultrasonic,
decorative, etc.)
o CAD design (AutoCAD, Solid Works, others)
o Project management
o Production environment 
	Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project) and file management:
	Effective time management skills
