Job Responsibilities
1.According to the product requirement, create the draft motor specification for quotation and check quotation specification whether is reasonable.
2.Develop new motor performance and structure, release drawing and BOM.
3.Motor validation, include performance curve (MAGTROL)/temperature rising/lock rotor test /motor life test /dimension checking.
4. Motor EMC solution from 150k to 1000M Hz.
5.Production and quality support (e.g., analysis of issues and implementing corrective action internally with suppliers to prevent reoccurrence).
6.Collaborate with R&D Teams and / or external suppliers to troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and validate appropriate corrective action.
7.Requirement’s analysis and design review.
8.Preparing and presenting information, ideas and data.
9.Works closely with the R&D Teams to architect and develop the best technical solution and approach.
10.Work with Purchasing, Quality and project team to control the product and project delivery on time.
Qualifications
Degree in Motor or Mechanical Engineering.
Essential skills and experience:
1.Ability to accurately plan own work and meet deadlines.
2.At least 3 years of experience in universal motor and PMDC design for household appliances.
3. Knowledge and experience of mechanical design, tolerance calculation, engineering plastics.
4. Experience of NX or solidworks, AutoCAD software
5.Ability to solve motor noise/vibration/EMC/life issues.
6. Knowledge of motor safety standard (IEC / UL / CUL /CCC)
7.Design for manufacture and production test experience. Strong troubleshooting and testing background with hands on experience.
8.Experience in working collaboratively with international development teams.
9. Fluency in written and verbal communication in English.
10.Good teamwork ability.
Desirable skills and experience:
1. Ability of Electromagnetic finite element analysis, Experience of Ansoft maxwell, Flux, Motor-CAD.
2.Material cost and performance analysis
3.Gear box design and quality issue analysis
4.Knowledge and experience of Brushless DC design and control, Frequency conversion three-phase motor, Switched reluctance motor
