Essential functions:
	Contribute to a team of innovative professionals who create sophisticated and technically advanced machinery for our internal and external customers
	Extensive experience and knowledge of Industrial Automation, manufacturing techniques/ best practices.
	Engaging our sales team and customers to fully understand the requirements and challenges for each project.
	Concepting solutions and crafting proposals for custom manufacturing equipment.
	Proven experience with estimating the following:
o Purchased supply items (robots, pumps, motors, turntables, conveyers, materials, controls, outsourced design, etc.)
o Processing (developing a suitable manufacturing process including cycle times,
labor requirements, past movements, etc.); and provide detailed itemization of entire project cost.
	Effective oral and written communications with customers, suppliers, and within the BTS team in English.
	Ability to work with a variety of product designs, drawings, CAD models, sketches, prototype parts, etc.
	Work in a fast-paced environment (ability to provide quick budgetary quotes, fully detailed quotes, multi-task (juggle multiple quotes at a time). Effective time management is required.
	Occasional travel to the customer.
	Estimate new projects, changes to existing equipment, develop a quote that includes out of production customer capital, etc.

Required competency, education, and experience:
	BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent relevant industry experience.
	At least 3 years of relevant experience 
	Strong interpersonal skills
	Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 
	Computer Skills:
o Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project) 
o Understand file management 
o Work related internet use 
	Areas of Knowledge:
o Metals industry. 
o Testing Equipment. 
o Adhesive/Bonding
o Plastics (assembly, sonic welding, hot plate welding, heat staking, ultrasonic, decorative, etc.). o CAD design (AutoCAD, Solid Works, others). 
o Project Management.
